Another glitch ? Why am I not suprised ?
Good year for both consoles last year, lets hope it continues. I too prefer the 360's lineup this year but Sony have a couple of games coming I like the look of such as Heavy Rain and Team Ico's new game.
Socom is the ultimate game for teamwork. It is a bit too hardcore for people new to the game though so that is probably why your not sold on it. Get in a clan with people you enjoy playing with and the tactical aspects of the game is limitless.
PS: Socom is third person not an FPS.
Who cares if its future proof or not. Its a great console that keeps me happy and worse case scenario they will bring out a new one in a few years.

The lack of teamwork and tactics on MW2 is one of the reasons I can't stand it. I can deal with games like Halo that are run and gun but MW2 could have been tactical but the way its developed sucks.
Why do I have two disagrees for what I said. This game must be played online, how can you disagree with that especially without giving a reason. Grow some balls and tell me why.
@Akiraburn I did mention Chrono Trigger plus I agree that Vice City was the pinnacle of the GTA series.
If the multi player for Reach is anything like Halo 3 then we can be very happy come release.
This game has to be played online to get the most out of it. I leant it to a friend that only plays single player and he handed it back the next day even though I told him the score. Online this game rocks and is a must play for anyone. The way it forces you to look out for the other three people on your team and the sense of accomplishment it gives you is amazing.
Home is not accessible enough. When I had a PS3 I never used it as it took too long to get into. I think Microsoft will implement the games room into NXE better as they tend to be better at the online stuff and how to implement it. At the end of the day all I want to do is play games anyway not wander around watching pathetic males chase around more males dressed up as women trying to dance thrust up against them.
Where is Shadow of the Colossus on that list? Possibly the best game of all time. They should also remake Chrono Trigger the worlds best RPG in my opinion.
As much as I like titles such as Fallout and Oblivion they lack the essence of a solid Japanese RPG. If we had to rely on western developers we would just have trash like MW2 released week in week out because thats what sells. I need games like Ico and Shadow of the collossus, games with emotion.
Red Dead Redemptions "I'm John Marston" should be on that list. Since I see that trailer, everyday has felt 48hrs long. March can't arrive soon enough for me.
Red Dead Redemption is my most highly anticipated game at the moment but I don't know how well it will sell with all the AAA games coming out at the beginning of this year. Alien vs Predator is another one i'm really looking forward too.
I think MW2 is extremely over hyped. I tried to like it but just couldn't. I prefer my online shooters to be tactical whereas MW2 is just run and gun and Halo does that a lot better. No game comes close to how I felt playing games like Socom and Warhawk. Gears of war is another game that would blow MW2 out the water in my opinion. KZ2 was not my favorite game but still better than it. I can't see myself getting suckered into buying anymore COD games in the future.
I would be quite happy if I didn't have to buy a new console until 2015. The PS2 was just starting to do amazing things when they started to concentrate on the PS3, I would have liked a few more years with it. The same goes for my 360, the games are getting better and better all the time so more time with it would be desirable.
Im really excited for this game. It will hopefully play like Left 4 Dead in the way you have to work as a team online to survive.
I can't stand the Modern Warfare series. I can't stand it even more since Infinity Ward got all arrogant and started charging whatever they liked for their games, now it looks like they will do the same for DLC. In the end its the peoples fault for supporting with their wallets.
